RUGS
Note: The knot density
of Kazak rugs varies between 90 000 to 135 000 knots per square meter. (60 to
80 knots per square inch) Warps are always wool and wefts are 3-4 shots of two
ply wool. Wefts are red, either dyed with madder or cochineal, sometimes mixed.
All Kazak rugs are made in the villages of Kazak, Tovuz and Akstafa Regions.
