Information:
The name of the carpet is related with the village of the same name,
Dagh-Kasaman, which is located 4 km from the region center - Kazak. This
type of carpets were being made also in the outskirts of Dagh-kasaman -
Qara-papaqly,Tatly, Aghstafa, Qyraq-Kasaman, Ak-koynek, also in Caravanserai
(today's Ijevan). There are two different types of carpets in
Dagh-Kasaman Village. Second type of carpet, which is called "Caravanserai"
was started to be made in Shamsaddin Region. This region was primarily
settled by Azeri Turks, but later was given to Armenia, by Russian Soviet
Communist Government. And later, in 1988, major Azeri Turk population were
expelled from the region by Armenians. Pile:
